The Driver

Name:
Simon Pavlick
DOB: June 24,1983
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 170
Birthplace: Chicago, IL
Resides: Phoenix, AZ

After growing up on the northwest side of Chicago, Simon moved to Phoenix Arizona where he continued to satisfy his interest in cars. He found many connections through the seemingly endless network of "Honda-folks" in the Phoenix area, which eventually led him to take his need for speed to the race track.

As an automotive technician he encounters the challenges of working on Honda's and Acura's each day. Learning the details of the make, he has plenty of hands-on experience using the latest systems and equipment to troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair automobiles. This naturally carried over into working on local cars and racing projects within the social circle of Hondas. This would eventually lead Simon to build his own Time Trials car.

Simon's keen attention to detail and abundant knowledge of automotive mechanics placed him in great demand for his high-quality workmanship. He is often called for advice and hands-on guidance from basic engine systems to electronics, powertrains, brakes, climate control, transmissions, street passenger and racing restraint systems. With a solid understanding of the demands of on-track performance and suspension setup, he applies his professional technical experience and expertise to his own race car, placing him in a competitive advantage within a racing environment.

The 1994 Acura Integra (in Thunder Grey Metallic) that Simon is known for will continue to be raced within the NASA Arizona region in the Time Trials TTE classing and Time Attack. With a solid standing in the Arizona region, look for him at NASA Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park this coming 2010 season.
