Once you find Goliad Texas you wont find a whole lot in it. Things can and do change though. In fact, twice a year the infamous Texas Mile event attracts hundreds of participants and spectators and nationally recognized media coverage to a tiny airstrip where cars line up for an extended weekend of top-speed challenges at the one-mile marker.
For several years, I made the trip out to document the high-speed action as their offiical photographer—all while updating the Texas Mile website with relevant information, and public announcements.
